God is in control over Life and Death
Only God has power over life and sickness.

Yes indeed only Lord God can call us back to his presence when the time comes, get back the life he has lent us. Or even lengthen is. We owe everything to Him. It is not the devil. He has power too over sickness.
He has the power too to lengthen the lives
All the offering and pain that comes with the death and sickness we offer Him.
Death is a predestination that we should be prepared for. It more painful for an old person to be immortal. Aging brings forth wear and tear sickness like diabetes, arthritis which could be painful. Living longer does not do good for the person nor the living around him/her. Death sometimes is a blessing that ends all suffering that comes with aging
